A word of thanks
Next to a bit of history, wedding vows usually contain a word of thanks and appreciation in which you address your partner directly and tell him/her why he/she is the one for you. What qualities do you appreciate about your partner? What are his/her most beautiful or best qualities? How does the other bring out the best in you? Also let your partner know how you feel about him or her.
Happily ever after
Conclude your vows with a look to the future. What do you expect from life together? What goals do you have and what things do you want to achieve? How will you achieve these goals? In the last part you also sum up what you promise your future partner and clearly state how you will contribute to a successful marriage.
