Up high
While you're in Berlin, take to the skies and enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from the Fernsehturm, the city's tallest building. Between peacocks on a fairytale island

Love beyond the grave
Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin's largest palace, has a history that will move all couples in love. The inconsolable King Frederick William III did not want to bury his late wife, Queen Louise of Prussia, in the crypt of Berlin Cathedral, as was the custom. He did, however, have a shrine built in the grounds of his castle, where he could be close to her. The mausoleum containing her sarcophagus was enlarged again after her death, in accordance with her wishes, so that they could remain together in the same space for eternity. A romantic river cruise
A river cruise on the Spree is all about romance and conviviality. No matter how many times you've been to Berlin, you won't know the city unless you've seen it from the water. So become the captain of your own electric boat and chart your course on the water, or take a speedboat further afield to discover the beauty of the historic site of Wannsee and the seven lakes that surround it. From the water, with a drink and a snack in hand, admire the changing appearance of the city at sunset. You can also embark on an evening boat trip and enjoy a special Berlin dinner on board. Oberbaum Bridge
The Oberbaumbrücke is one of Berlin's most photographed bridges. Couples from all over the world come here for a romantic photo shoot. This bridge, which once marked the separation between East and West Berlin, today symbolises the power that unites people. It even evokes the unity of the entire German people. That's why many couples see this bridge as proof of the unification they hope to achieve in their own lives. In the evening, take a stroll along the river, visit one of the cosy cafés lining the bank, then sit down in the middle of the bridge. Sunset is the perfect time to propose - enveloped in the soft evening light, overlooking the glistening river.
