The start of a big family
From the moment Paloma and Ezequiel wanted children together, they knew they would get married one day. Paloma says: "When our little daughters were one year old, we decided together that we would get married the following spring. For us, the wedding was a symbolic step in building our family."

Wedding dress homemade by the bride
Paloma designed and sewed her own wedding dress. She enthuses, "I knew right away that I would make my dress myself. I had a very special dress in mind; I would -to bring this vision to life- not find a designer who knows me better than I know myself!"

Civil wedding in Zamora
On 20 May 2023, Paloma and Ezequiel's civil wedding took place at La Harinera Eventos in Zamora, a romantic venue where they enjoyed their entire day beautifully. Zamora is a city in the Spanish region of Castilla y León, located close to Portugal.

Heartwarming ceremony with the kids as witnesses
What made Paloma and Ezequiel's wedding extra special was the presence of their children as the main witnesses of their wedding. Paloma: "Our children accompanied us to the altar. They were the main witnesses of our marriage. We celebrated more than our marriage - we celebrated the foundation of our big family."

Paloma walked down the aisle with their eldest son, Enzo, while Ezequiel was accompanied by their twins: India and Olivia. "This is the moment we are most proud of; it is the most beautiful memory of our wedding day, ’ shares Paloma.

Cosy reception & lunch
After the ceremony, Paloma, Ezequiel and their closest family and friends enjoyed a delicious reception and lunch at the same enchanting venue in Zamora.

Photo shoot with Rocio Vega
After lunch, the newlyweds secluded themselves with wedding photographer Momenticos by Rocio Vega, for a beautiful couples' shoot at the dreamy venue.

Surprising tango as an opening dance
Paloma and Ezequiel had a big surprise in store for their guests. The newlyweds sat on the dance floor together, dressed with a typical hat, scarf and fringes, while the lighting and smoke also created the atmosphere of an Argentine milonga, a type of tango. "This was definitely the funniest moment of the day for Ezequiel and me, ’ shares Paloma. "We wanted to dance the tango even though we had never danced tango before in our lives! The surprised facial expressions of our guests were incredible when they saw what was about to happen. Full of excitement they were waiting, completely surprised that we had organised this."

Paloma and Ezequiel's tango became a spectacle that amazed all the guests. Wedding photographer Momenticos by Rocio Vega captured the moment in beautiful images. "The photos of the tango were so spectacular because there was so much feeling in the room at that moment. It was very special, ‘ smiles Paloma.

Festive afterparty
After the spectacular opening dance, the festive afterparty got underway quickly at La Harinera Eventos in Zamora. The Spanish and Argentinian cultures came together on the dance floor in a 'milonga tango' full of ambiance.

Top tip: hire a professional photographer who captures everything on film
Paloma offers some more tips for engaged couples: "My main advice is to enjoy the preparations, because your wedding itself goes by so quickly. You might not have enough time at your party to talk to everyone; don't worry about this though, it's impossible to be with all your guests all the time. However, this is why it is SO important to have a great professional who sees and captures everything on film, including the things you might miss. We really had the best photographer: Rocio Vega captured all the emotions felt at our wedding, and she did a fantastic job! In addition, feel free to listen to recommendations from others, but remember that it's your day - so above all, do what you really want!"

The entire House of Weddings team wishes Paloma and Ezequiel heartfelt congratulations and lots of love and happiness in the future!
