With a fingerprint
Very exclusive, because incredibly personal: wedding rings with your loved one's fingerprint. Do you opt for a fingerprint discreetly on the inside of your wedding ring or would you rather have it prominently displayed on the outside of your ring? You can have the fingerprint engraved into the ring using laser technology or you can immortalise the print in wax with the jewellery designer. Afterwards, a ring will then be cast based on that print.

Hand-made or machine engraving
Traditionally, couples have their names and the wedding date engraved in their wedding rings. But you can also express your feelings or story more creatively in engravings. How about a quote that has special meaning for you or the coordinates of the place where he proposed? It is even possible to have the engraving placed in your own handwriting!

There are two types: diamond engravings and laser engravings. Diamond engravings go deeper into the surface and can be set either by hand or by machine. Laser engravings are less deep. But then again, they are very precise and the possibilities are endless: you can even have a photo engraved this way.

With unique stones
Choosing a wedding ring with a diamond is choosing a unique ring. After all, each diamond is unique, with its own colour and quality. It is even more special to use a stone with a history and story in your wedding ring. If, for example, you inherited an old necklace or ring from your grandmother, you can have the stones from that jewel incorporated into a new design. This will give your ring even more meaning and emotional value.

With 3D printing
If you have a very specific design in mind, 3D printing can be a useful technique to realise your ring. Some jewellers work with this technique to complement the handwork in their workshops. Get advice from the jeweller or jewellery designer on how best to shape your dream wedding ring.
